After dealing with this behind the scenes for what seems like many weeks now, trying to calm all parties, I am finally almost ready to resign. I simply cannot understand why Achieck is pushing so hard to have the final word, even new, lengthy posts after her Farewell.
I would LOVE to see her posts up on these boards so she can have "closure" and move on, but when WC first explained why we couldn't (due to respecting confidentialy) respond intelligently, you said, "Fair enough."
Jane, surely Joseph has shared with you the incredible frustrations of coordinating boards, of being bound by confidentiality. If there was any way of dealing with this publicly and in an intelligent and calm matter, I'd be for it. But do you really think this discussion would end even if we posted BOTH of Achiek's posts tomorrow?
I don't believe it would.
While I understand Achiek's pain over Carol and the direction this board has taken, and while I would love to see her have "closure" why must it be to the detriment of this board? Again I ask, even if we posted both of her letters tomorrow, would it really help? No. We would have to respond to clarify what we beleived to be inaccuracies, and she would respond, and Alan and Mr. Don would kick in their views, and this thing would never rest until Achiek or Alan felt they had the "last word."
