In my opinion, it's not that safe for all the coordinators to leave at once. There are issues that go on behind the scenes like hacker problems and such. The best way is for them to take rotating breaks, and have another coordinator cover for them. I would imagine that they already do this here.
At NDN, we've had a few times where we have gotten everyone together in one place that could travel. Of course, not everyone can afford to do it, or have the time. But, we've been able to get a lot of the people together. One time we rented a big house for a few days in Oklahoma. Early this year, some of us took a cruise out of Houston to Mexico together. I don't remember spending very much time talking about NDN, but we had a lot of fun. We didn't call it a "Fellowship", nobody preached at anyone, we just had a good time together.
Part of the problem with running something like this totally online is that there are a lot of misunderstandings that develop when you can't see the person, and hear their voice. Sometimes someone is getting upset, and you just can't tell, so you keep doing whatever it is that upsets them. Then they blow up. If you can spend some time in person, you get a feel for how someone communicates, then it is easier to read what is going on with them over text.
