Originally, I believe Journeys was meant to be more like Kathy's Corner and GenX was just for general subjects, sans religion, and Academia was for academic subjects. We thought we had it all covered. Then there were complaints that agnostics and atheists were feeling threatened, so we opened up Kathy's corner as a way for Christians to express themselves and not offend the other group. Now maybe it's time to change some of the rules and guidelines so that these other boards can accomodate all passions and beliefs.
