A safe place

I'll probably get shouted down for this but here goes anyway.
I am really starting to feel like there is no safe place for atheists to post here. Christians have Journeys and now Kathy's Corner but we have no where. I would think it would turn off new comers who are not Christians to post here. I know I'm starting to feel that way.
I know we've been through this before but I'm feeling strongly that we do not have a space to express ourselves without having to argue our stand constantly. I would not dream of posting on Kathy's Corner as I respect the right for people to have that space but what about us (atheists and agnostics). I am getting sick of constant insults about lack of belief in the Lord.
Journeys is not the place because its about spiritual journeys. How about those of us who are only interested in the physical, practical journey of life?
Have I got a case? Think about it and if anyone agrees with me lets hear from you.
