Unfortunately, I have never seen him perform in person. My love for his music goes all the way back to Broken Arrow, but my favorite album is Everyone Knows This is Nowhere. I prefer his heavy electric pieces, not so much the ballads. Cortez the Killer is another favorite (banned in some Latin Amercian countries, I believe).
Last night I put on the DVD of the Last Waltz and watched him do Helpless (The Band are another all-time favorite of mine). Neil is considered the father of grunge and toured with Pearl Jam, who consider him their greatest musical inspiration. That must have introduced to another generation.
