Just to avoid confusion, not everything was good either. Living at the whim of people who might one day send you on the road without a penny or support was not picnic.
Some people sound as if they had a gun on them forcing them to join. Not me. I did it taking full responsibility of my decision. Later on I realized that it was a decision that may have saved my life. I don't give much credit to The Family as an insititution but to God who was already busy working on my behalf.
