I think part of our being "healed" from the whole Family past, regrets and other negative feelings and so on, is to look for that positive. When I left TF it was because of some doctrines I could not hide under my mental rug anymore but I could not in all sincerity do the same with some people.
I had wonderful times and met wonderful people. I don't know where the vast majority of them are, or even who they are. I still think of them some times. When I see people doing things I used to do while in TF i still feel some nostalgia. I often think about the possibility of me doing those same things (like the "box" skit that somebody else mentioned) some time in the future.
The good things I see in that period of my life is not so much connected with the Family as an organization but with the people, some of the people I had the fortune to meet and still keep in the good memories section of my mental album.
