The pix on that website are Vampirella alright, but not the particular one that were used for the cover of that ML. He had a black-&-white magazine-sized comic. Like a lot of comic books, the artists change all the time, so you'd have to go back to the mid 70's to find that particular one.
Actually, Maria herself will be surprised to hear that Eman used Vampirella as a model for her, since such "dark" reference material was not authorized at the time. But Eman and another artist there liked the quality of the artwork and learned from Frank Frazetta and other even darker artists while the rest of us were copying Russ Manning (Tarzan) and Hal Foster (Prince Valiant).
