You may like to consider yourself a victim, and I concede that there are many ways in which that can seem the case. But to try to put SGAs and FGAs in the same boat together is, quite frankly, insulting. You agree that our abuse was more severe? Who did you think perpetrated these abuses? Yes, that would be the FGAs....
This is why it can at times be quite difficult for us SGAs to see FGAs as victims, considering that many of them were our abusers. They are the ones that joined, formed, supported, and thereby created The Family. Yes, we can all agree that the Family is the "bad guys". But it is the FGAs that created The Family, made it what it was and what it is. We were just born into it. So perhaps with this you will be able to understand a little bit of why sometimes we talk in what you perceive to be an "attitude." You know, LIFE LONG sexual, physical, mental and spiritual abuse can do that to a person.
So, please, don't put us in the same category with you.
Thank you.
(By the way, Jules, if you read this, I don't think you have an attitude...I was just making a point to Mr. Don)
