Just to mention, I would disagree that every Family member has access to the Internet. When I left in 1999, most Homes did have one computer, but only one, usually located in a Home Servant's bedroom and use of it was very restricted. And even though I was a Home Servant most of the last few years, my use of the computer was quite limited, as a teacher I used it to create school worksheets, etc. but did not go on the Internet.
Just a mention of another perspective, of my personal experience, not intending to argue the rest of your post!
