Thanks for the support regarding the Dateline show. I appreciate it a great deal.
SPF is currently accepting donations. We do not yet have tax exempt status, so we have been holding off on our marketing launch until we hear back on that. However, people can currently still donate. It's possible that once Safe Passage Foundation tax exemption is received, tax receipts can be granted retroactively, but we cannot guarantee this. (If the FCF can be tax exempt it can't be too hard to qualify, but we have been advised to not promise anything at all until we know for sure.)
Regarding the specifics of how to donate, this is not my department. There is a financial committee (currently consisting of a treasurer and accountant) who handle all of the details regarding donations and funding. I am currently working on the web site which will contain all of the details and have a place for people to donate online. For now it would probably be best to contact the treasurer at for the specific information.
