You seem to not remember quite a bit about this. The kid had been hospitalized and you could not ask them directly. While I was visiting them in the hospital, a friend of theirs told me you had asked them about it, they had relayed the request to the young person and were thinking about what to suggest that they do. I was so upset that you could even consider this person going to the media at all, let alone Jerry Springer, given all the circumstances, which you were fully aware of. I stated this quite clearly and directly to the friend and also to you.
