Susie, I'm not sure you read all of my post above, or that you have read WC's post carefully. Please understand, this is NOT about censorship. As the coordinators of this board we reserve the right to define the purpose of each board to meet the needs of the readers. That is not censorship.
If we decide that discussions of politics (which have proven to be extremely divisive and inflammatory in the past) should be off-limits for GenX, and we believe that that is in the best interests of the majority of posters, then that is our perogative. If we decide to open a separate board for political discussions, that also is our perogative. But for you now for the third time to accuse us of "censorship" is becoming quite irritating. You say, "Well if that's what has to happen to stop censorship go for it."
I told you that I am open to having a separate board for discussing politics. I have not been open to that in the past but I am now. However, your continued accusations of censorship are quite irritating and counter-productive to making this happen. I asked you to explain your reasons for wanting a political board. I invited you to dialogue and express your opinions and I was not expecting that about all you would say, once again, was "censorship".
If we do open a political board, which might be a good idea, it will be because we feel there is a need for it, not because you continue to repeat one single word to press your point. If you want to make this happen, please help us work for it with constructive advice and helpful suggestions.
