as to Ararat - what do you mean by the main point being knowing reality as it truly is? Do you mean as how the Turkish are trying to change it? I hope not, that was not the main point of the movie. I think the actor playing the director made the best point - why would some people hate so much as to martyr nearly a whole nation? Genocide because of race or religion is much different than a war over borders, tyranny or livelihood.
