This is an interesting post becasue I've heard of a number of exmembers who have either written their life story and never found a publisher or started to write it and never finished, or wonder if they should write it. I agree it's therapeutic to write your story even if it's never published.
There are apparently lots of self-publishing options these days. I have a friend who wrote a book on a not-that-popular subject so couldn't find a publisher, but he located a publisher who prints and mails out copies of his book as people order them individually. That's a new way of doing things! I don't know how much he earns from that but I don't think it's much. But he is getting his book out.
