Well, the keyboard combination to go back or forward (Alt key + left or right arrows) has never behaved this way in all my years doing Internet-related work. I worked as a programmer at Kennedy Space Center for 5 years, using all brands of Windows (except Millineum) and have never seen this behavior until now on the genx page.
The error messages I am getting when I attempt to go to the journeys board even occur when I start at www.exfamily.org. I click on the chat boards index link, it loads, but when I choose either journeys or genx, I get the error message about not being allowed to access the scripts externally. Yet, I can get to genx by using genx.exfamily.org.
If you are using some new scripts, they are the cause of the problems. If they are in fact incompatible with Internet Explorer version 6.x, or Win 98, then your use of them is going to lock out a lot of people.
