If I were encountering this problem on other web sites, I'd be inclinded to agree with your hypothesis that it's my OS or browser's fault, but this is the only web site where I have ever encountered these problems.
Something in your scripts is causing the problems. I can not access Journeys through journeys.exfamily.org, but I have no problem getting to genx by using genx.exfamily.org. That indicates a problem on the host side, not the client side.
I'm curious...is anyone else having these problems?
