For us FGs those words bring a 'coming of age' nostalgia for when we voluntarily left home at 18 or 19 & ended up in a different town in a different state, hanging around in a hippy house and disillusioned with false friends who sold us bad LSD or ripped off our sleeping bag.
For your generation those words meant you were 13-14 and forcibly sent away from your parents in Asia to some teen camp in Mexico and the company of strangers were 'aunties' who beat you with a paddle with hearts carved in it so they left heart-shaped mark on your butt & 'uncles' who groped the female members.
Different meanings for different folks.
