If you believe in a person's right to own their body, then you will also let them do with their own body as they see fit. Anything short of this will be a contradiction.
And that was my point exactly, a dichotomized world is full of contradictions. Thank you for making my point. There has to be more than two positions. Viewing the world from any of the extremes erases the beauty of gray and middle grains.
By the way, even though slavery was abolished, the legal structures are in place to allow the exploitation of many clases of people, particularly some minorities. The services that would help them get aducation are being reduced or eliminated (see HeadStart). Therefore if you are against slavery, then I assume you would also be against explotation of entire classes of people.
