I was kind of middle of the road and always about 10 to 20 lbs. overweight. I only went FFing twice that I can remember, when it was first being allowed to "rank and file" members (not until several years after the King Arthur series came out, at least in my area). No one ever encouraged me to "go FFing" that I can remember.
I was a teacher by choice, loved teaching the kids and always in trouble for advocating for more time for school, teaching teens, etc. !!! (another subject, lol)
