your son (or daughter) came to you and told you that he/she was gay? From your opinions, I am assuming you would be heartsick about it, but would you be able to accept them? What if they were married but told you they had felt this way almost all their life, but they could no longer continue trying to play a heterosexual role that they don't believe they were meant to play? I am seriously asking this question because it has just happened to me. There is also a marriage and children involved. How would you react and what would you say?
