that was helpful. Something that got me thinking when I took Sociology in college, was the fact that there are many known cases of babies being born with both sexual organs and at the time of birth, the doctor makes it a habit to chose which sexual orientation the child should end up being by making a nick or tuck here or there. This got me thinking - What if he makes the wrong choice? That child has to live with being the wrong sex for the rest of his or her life, that must be quite the torment.
And another thing, it showed me that we live in a flawed world with flawed genes and flawed people. It stands to reason then, that we have a lot of flaws in our make-up and that includes so many things. I can't find it in myself to judge someone else because they were born with a flaw or whatever you want to call it-- something different or not the norm. There is so much we need to understand still, who am I to make that judgment?
