"The Family is not what it should be, not what it was."
Does that mean we should go back to openly raping our children in the name of God's love and beating them until they stop crying in the name of God's justice? Those were the days when we were really on-fire with 100 percent blind obedience to the End-Time Pedophile and his pea-brained concubine!
This must change if the Family is to fulfill its destiny. … All is not guaranteed. It's not that you are destined to be My avant-garde Endtime army and there's nothing that could ever change that. Even that promise is conditional, contingent on your obedience and faith"
Gee, as long as I continue believing that God's faithfulness and love are conditional, almost totally contingent on my obedience and faith, I guess I'll just have to keep jumping into the cesspool when Mama Maytag, the Great Brain Washer and Fear Wringer, cycles back through another soapy delusion about the centrality of her place in the universe.
"Dearest Husband...You said that everyone has addictions, everyone has things in their life that they put before You or Your work, things we've made gods out of... Please show me specifically how You want to cleanse me."
Jesus speaking: Prayerfully consider whether you have made a god out of David Berg, Karen Zerby, Peter Kelly, or any other leader that advises you. Does blind obedience and continued membership in The Family at the cost of your conscience get in the way of serving Me?
If The Family fails its mission as My great end-time army, where does that say about Maria, your commander-in-chief? Could her failures and sins have as much or more to do with The Family's demise as the failures and sins of ordinary followers? Does the buck stop with the foot soldier or with the incompetent general who leads her troops into battle and looses the war?
