You're right, it was an exaggeration, but I meant it as a bit of rhetorical hyperbole, not meant to be taken literally. It was more of a political statement, which is perhaps inappropriate for this website, and for that I apologize. I'm new here. What I find most interesting about your response, however, is how you could make such an assumption about me based on one sentence, without knowing anything about me. In fact, I have just recently started my recovery, dealing with 19 years of indoctrination in TF. I'm not yet ready to tell my story here, as it has only been a couple weeks since I've been willing and able to face my past, and I'm experiencing the symptoms of post-cult traumatic stress. I recently discovered this website and it has been a tremendous help for me as I make my way through this confusing process of understanding what happened to me. I do hope that when I'm ready to contribute more meaningfully to this board that you won't be so quick to judge me. Again, I apologize for any misunderstanding.
