Oh, Charlie, darn, you tore it up??? You know, I am talking to someone right now and I thought it was going to be real bad, too, but it wasn't. You have to see someone who deals with abuse and trust me, they've seen worse, that's what they deal with everyday. They are not surprised and in fact, are very, very understanding. It's refreshing, actually.
Yes, my daughter has it better. They don't have FFing now, really. They aren't allowed to practice incest, so they think they don't have to worry about that. I don't know if there is that much in house sharing going on where she is. She has been in the same city and country nearly her whole life, she knows the language, reads and speaks it fluently and s he and only just moved to a new town a couple of years ago. So there is no moving around, she doesn't have to travel back and forth for visas, she's not pioneering country after country, town after town with many kids in tow. And, she's in some sort of leadership position so she doesn't have to deal with ingrate leaders. Also, she's complicent with her situation and no doubt is not the upstart like I was which is why I had hell to pay for it. When questioned about the loving jesus doctrine, her comment was - "well, it's not the main part of our doctrine" !!! - so what??? They have an answer for everything.
