just to say that there may be some things you don't understand. More to the point:
When a person "leaves" they may have left some things but not others. If they "leave" a home or certain superficial non-important parts of that life, that's fine and small steps make a long journey.
What is not that much of a step is what others do, which is to go be on their own, tithing or not aside, fellowshiping or not aside, but still promoting within their life the doctrines of The Family. And the most important point here is that the pomotion comes not because of ignorance of other ways of life but because of conviction that it is the "will of god". Those are still in The Family even if they or TF say that they are ex-members.
