I remember when I was first leaving TF, I wouldn't allow my poor 15 year old to read the newspaper, not even the sports section. What was I thinking? I was sooo afraid of the evil system. I'm so glad I woke up.
Yes, I know a couple here who still tithe and still read DBs for devotions even though THEY cannot tolerate living "in" TF. They've been like this for the last 20 or so years. I have a hard time fathoming that. I see their kids once in awhile and we talk about that. They don't understand their parents either. They grew up very confused.
