Right. I was thinking the other day about the way the Family denied us individuality. Berg's rants about selfishness, unity, & what Jesus supposedly meant by the denying of oneself. And Maria wrote stuff like the "Handicap of Natural Ability". Those are just a couple of examples of a very long list of stuff that we got brainwashed with. Also on the list were things like the "delegates meetings" and for example hearing the leaders testify about how much closer they were to Jesus, Dad and Mama, since they had separated from their wives or husbands, and how fulfilling Berg's "One Wife" doctrine was making them into what "God wanted them to be". All of this made us brainless, mind controlled, and to be all the more loyal, faithful, and dedicated to the Family group-think.
Come to think of it, talking about "group think": the massacre, 10 years ago, of 800,000 Tutsis was a well planned and well controlled group think enterprise.
