Though individuals can get some respite in prosecuting their individual perps, when they are able to locate them and get them charged which is very helpful to them, I would LOVE to see a class action lawsuit against Maria and Peter and their organization in the same way that the lawsuit against pedophile priests went against the Catholic church primarily (financially speaking and because of their cover-ups, etc) and in this case, it is the opposite, the Family equivalent of the pope ENDORSES, introduced and has participated in all of the abuses. And the monster will continue to be on the move as long as the head is still intact.
After all, in this case the HEAD of the movement is the main problem (along with certain individuals)and as long as they remain, more generations will continue to be screwed up. Or it is not impossible for another "Jonestown" scenario to happen. Leadership has total control via fear tactics, repetitive drilling letters and such. Look how even some SGs returned to the family because of the fear that 911 triggered in them via the imbedded family messages about America and about leaving the family. I don't see that as those SGs being bad or weak. They were triggered and in a messed up state of mind, most likely believing God was behind it and that leaving would bring the wrath of God on them, it is not unlikely some would return.
I thought that a hurricane happened (about 6 mos after I left!) because I had left the family and God was judging me and would kill us all. Those were the types of things we were conditioned to believe. Imagine being taught that ALL YOUR LIFE.
