I guess the Family set themselves up for always being doubted and not given the benefit of the doubt. When they officially say that they never renounced FFing and officially state in "Summit Jewels" that child/adult sex is OK, they leave themselves wide open for these kinds of accusations.
Even if some SGs are freelancing and doing this out of official Family rules it all comes from Family teaching.
