The big problem is that my sister actually lives with my dad. He LOVES The Family. He thinks that everyone in The Family is like an angel on Earth. He thinks Berg was like Jesus. Anyhow, I am sure that my dad is encouraging her.
My little sis was never ambitious or hardworking... I think this is why The Family has such an appeal for her. I tried to tal to her about it and she said, "People just like to make up lies about them because they don't understand." The only thing she really remembers about The Family is that she used to make a lot of donations cause she was little and people thought she was cute. Later on, after we left The Family but kept visiting, she discovered that there were alot of cute teenage boys. But I don't think she will fully realize how it is until she has been in it for a while.
Anyhow, I have given up on trying to convince her... she needs to find out for herself because she doesn't like to take advice; she thinks she knows everything about them. Does anyone know if The Family is still successfully recruiting members? Or is it mostly made up of the offspring?
