"The communal house thing will appeal to young adults, particularly those without families. In the Western System, young adults go off to college and live together in dorms and group homes. After graduation, they form their own families or get an apartment alone or with fewer roommates."
Dunno, AG methinks you're mixing apples and oranges. Than GN clearly advises against all young-people Homes, which would be the closest thing to your college scenario. From SGs who left after me, I heard of the times they generally liked better was when they were in all- SG homes, but that will be frowned on now (maybe because they need to spread the SGs around to support the aging FGs). Even in an all-SG Home, since pyramidal leadership will always veto its composition, there will always be a fair share of SG Nazis, of which I have known some doozies. Not mush in common with the college experience.
