With cultic tactics such as they use, they could hoodwink just about anybody. Ruth should tell her dad to talk to her sister. Tell her dad that unless he wants his daughter ending up marrying some dirty old man in TF and having one kid after another until she is worn out, then he had better rethink his position of having his children so close to F. members.
This is happening to a family I know here. They have been TRF supporters for many, many years. Most of the children want nothing to do with TF, but one of the girls decided she wanted to join and her parents packed her up and sent her to India. Can you imagine???? She was only 18 or something. Anyway, they were surprised to find out she was getting married to some member who was 30 years older than her. And to make it worse, they only found out 3 days before she got married. Not only were the siblings pissed off, but the parents were upset. Well, what were they thinking by shipping her off to a F. home????
Me thinks some of these parents aren't getting enough of their Mo letters to really know what is going on in TF. If they think things have changed, they are still in delusion. These parents need to wake up TODAY! If they can't live in a F. home, then why should they subject their children to being around that kind of lifestyle? Grrrrrr
