I hope you don't think that anyone is trying to say that the sexual abuse is merely Berg's fault and not the fault of the perps? No, I don't think that is what is meant.

And there were other abuses too like overworking the kids, not giving them a proper education, medical attention and teaching them to be deceptive, i.e, how to answer the authorities, turning them into child care helpers at 9 yrs old, separating them from their parents and siblings. No, all this went on and we all participated in it to some capacity. Yes, some left early on, some left later, it matters not. I feel bad for all of the above.

I was always fighting with people to school the kids. I would think in the back of my mind, what would they do if we or they left or there was no F. - how would they get on in the world without a good education? Yes, it bothered me. I have apologized to my kids over and over. I will apologize to you too, you should not have had to go through all the things that you did. I hurt whenever I hear my children talk and realize they have to deal with so many other issues because they have to hide their past - that they were raised in a sex cult. That hurts me knowing that I allowed such a thing to happen to my children. I would not have done that in my right mind, but it matters not, it happened and I am truly sorry for it. I hope you understand that.
