There is more than meets the eye. Someone who was present when Sara D. confessed this told me. It was after things were tightening up in the late 80's & Sara was talking about the difference between appropriate love for minors & not appropriate. I don't know what her point was except that it was maybe inappropriate if the child didn't want sexual contact. Sara said that when she was a child she was part of a group of children who were fondled and groped. A friend of the family came over from time to time & wanted to hold & cuddle the children. All the children were unhappy with his groping but he was a family friend they couldn't refuse, so they would take turns, telling each other 'now it's your turn to go sit with him.' She apparently still spoke with revulsion remembering the man.
I thought it was strange that she would have this experience as a child and know what it was like to feel revulsion from unwanted sexual advances but then turn around & promote even worse stuff to a whole generation.
