Your criticism of my post is on the money. I read many things on this entire thread before posting immediately under your very thought-provoking post. My apologies for mixing apples and oranges and not being more careful about where I hang my thoughts out to dry. I've done this before, and appreciate being called on it.
You brought up some very good points about reaching out and helping FGA understand what happened while they were in the cult. It is a long process coming to terms with one's choices in life, particularly when many of those choices were a consequence of living within a warped construction of reality.
People do what they need to do in order to survive.
