Thanks Farmer, I really appreciate you taking the time to answer me. He probably had a different name by then anyway. The person who told me he had committed suicide said it happened after being in India so I wouldn't mind betting that he was split from his mate. He was never great disciple material but such a lovely guy. He was really funny and used to do impressions of Ed Sullivan that I remember well. He was a funny guy - funny but tragic in a way. He was one of the genuine people I met in the Family.
I still don't know what the 'white book' was though. Can you enlighten me? How devious of the Family to focus on third world countries for those cruel practices. People are no where near support networks and are so much more vulnerable than they would be in their own country. I know I felt like that when I was in Macau with Ho and all. I felt so powerless and so far away from anyone who really cared about me. If there is such a thing as a miracle that's what got me out.
