I don't know. The whole thing is the kind of stupid non-event we see on the boards every few months. We are upset because Anneke's husband said FCF should sue the board. We are upset because Anneke said she would testify on FCF's behalf. But, none of that happened. It was just talk.
I'm not sure what the penalty for saying words we don't like to hear should be. Do we tie her to the front of our pickup truck and drive her in circles around the WalMart parking lot until she poops her pants, and then make her walk home past FCF headquarters?
It's odd, because it is a speech issue, not an action issue. And, it's an issue that is a couple of years old, and things changed in that time.
I'm at work, and Jane is at home, so I can't ask her what she meant. But, I think that the stuff about FCF being a legal entity goes to being careful not to claim that FCF engaged in actions that only the Family engaged in.
Everyone really ought to just say whatever they want. Except Anneke, of course. Her right to free speech was revoked when she made friends with Grant, and spoke out against exfamily.org.
I think that if The Family or FCF was going to sue ex'ers, it probably would have happened a while back. Personally, I'll hedge my own bet by thinking of them as separate, but connected entities. But, other people are welcome to their own opinions. That's the fun thing about discussion boards. We get to have discussions and figure out what other people think (except Anneke).
