Looking on the file creation dates on the server, it looks like the oldest messages we have are dated 4-1-2002. Back then we only had a 300 meg limit on our account. When we got to the quota, I'd go to crossfire and just delete messages older than a certain date.
From now on, the policy is to go in every January and archive to CD everything that is more than a year old. So, right now we have everything from January 2003 to date.
