I'm sure she knew Grant was in the Family. I didn't even meet Grant through Anneke, and it was never a question in my mind that Grant and everyone else I met down on the farm were Family to the bone.
I think that she probably believed that FCF was a legit attempt by The Family to provide assistance to people in need.
