Since the early 90s, The Family started a campaign of gaining a ring of supporters among ex-members. Peter met with individuals and attended at least one ex-fellowship where he clearly stated the rules of engagement. Since then, people have been falling in the limbo of "friendship" with TF to serve as spokespeople to ensure PR and good will.
This couple, Ron and Anneke, have helped people leave but have also been seeking support for TF, as shown by their actions in the FCF affair, even after they knew that it was being setup as a front. Like them, people who have not completely cut off their ties with Bergism are part of TF’s PR strategy.
Just saying “I am not a family front”, or something like that doesn’t make it true. The world in general works under the presumption of good faith and honest principles, which are the last thing one should expect from The Family, Peter, Maria, and the others with whom they affiliate.
Some people have show up as being on the fence but, if they live like TF, they talk like TF, they read MO and Maria Letters like TF, they sell Family pubs and other material, if they keep pushing friendship with TF... you be the judge, what are they?
