A lot of fields you have to stay constantly up on the latest developments as well. I imagine with the kind of work you did at NASA, that six months away from the job there, all kinds of huge upgrades and changes happen. What exactly did you have to study to get that position in the first place? Math I'm sure, or was it mostly just computer savvy? I knew a guy who worked for NASA once & he finally couldn't take the stress anymore, so moved to a small town and opened up a grocery store.
