Commentary on Britney's 2-day marriage

I came across this commentary in a newsletter:
Spears Appreciates "Sanctity of Marriage"

Britney Spears thinks marriage is sacred. Honest. No,
really.

At least that's what the pop singer told MTV's "Total
Request Live" this week when asked about her much-publicized, lasted-all-of-two-days marriage to a childhood friend.

"I do believe in the sanctity of marriage. I totally do,"
said Spears, who wed Jason Alexander (not the former "Seinfeld" actor) on Jan. 3 and got the union annulled 55 hours later. "(But) I was in Vegas, and it took over me."

Which can only mean she believes a little more strongly in
the sanctity of the all-night party.
