I just watched a TV program again called "Waco, The Rules of Engagement". I saved it on my Tivo, because it is one of the most shocking things I've ever seen in my life.
It is an investigative documentary that was nominated both for an Emmy and an Oscar and has aired on the BBC.

I have no doubt that The Branch Davidians were a cult. But, I also have do doubt that the US Goverment over reacted.
They went in because of reports of child abuse, but ended up killing all of the children in the process.
The matter is fairly complex, but the program I mentioned above does a great job of laying out the facts in an objective manner. If you can afford to order a copy of the DVD, I'd suggest it. Or, keep an eye out for it to air again.
