Reposting Jesse's deleted post

Posted by Oldtimer on December 22, 2003 at 13:55:06

Coordinator, I noticed you deleted Jesse's post below because it was against your naming names policy, but Jesse was speaking from his heart so since I have a copy of Jesse's post so I'm taking the liberty of reposting it with the name taken out, just in case people weren't finished discussing the subject.

------------------------------------------------

My daughter had been going to a church that she really liked. The molester and his wife and a couple of their friends showed up at the church one day deciding that that church was going to be their new church. My daughter had already been taling about her molestation with someone at the chruch. That person went to one of the elders of the church and told them who xx was and what he had done. The elder got my daughter an xx and sat them down. From what I remember xx apologized and my daughter forgave him. I think the elder then said that that was the end of it. My daughter left the church not long after.

My daughter had had a lot of contact with xx and his wife and he had never apologized.

I think his apology was horseshit.

I think the article posted by Joseph

is correct. Child molestation is on a level with murder in the damage it can do to someone's life and justice should be meted out by the law.
