Anybody ever live with Berg and Zerbe?

I recently read "The Little Girl Dream" for the first time. Something Berg said caught my attention, and I'd like to hear from anyone who ever lived with Berg and Zerbe.

In this Mo letter, Berg claims that he and Zerbe were living in a room that measures just 16 feet square, and says that they eat, sleep, cook their meals, etcetera, in this one small room. He implies that they have always lived in this fashion. I suspect this claim is total hogwash, and was written for the consumption of his followers, who often live under such austere conditions.
