I don't think any of us here are in any position to tell you what to do. You & your daughter know the situation better than anyone else ever will. I believe you are a forgiving guy but your daughter has been hurt, & the law is there for a reason, though sometimes it's not always a help. If there's anything you can legally do to help your daughter you should do it, as long as it helps her instead of putting her through further stress. This is you call. I wish some SGs would offer you some advice too, since some of them may be in similar situations or know someone who is.
