OK, I've got a question. You said, *Obviously, fondling a child once or twice will not have the same impact as repeatedly raping that child over a long period of time and threatening to take him/her away from their parents if s/he speaks up.*

Have you ever seen any study on where abusers' thinking is at? Im wondering why Rick Dupuis who fondled Peter Amsterdam's daughter once because he was told to & felt awful about it later, suffered such remorse for it that it contributed to his suicide, & yet Rick had the integrity to go on nationwide TV to admit it & admitted it in the British court case. I would consider that Rick was not a predator but a one-time incident.

So why did Rick feel such remorse & go so far to own up to the guilt & yet abusers who actually fucked little girls & threatened them if they told, & went on to screw up so many other lives seem to feel no remorse & only worry about getting caught? It seems there's a difference here & I wonder if clinical studies have shed any light on this.

Another thing, Rocky once said a while ago on this board that Solomon CR who fondled a girl at the same time as Rick would probably not go to prison for what he did but would be made to undergo counseling. Rocky must know what he's talking about.Do you know anything about that? Where are the lines & the differences?
