The first time I saw spousal abuse was on the road. We had just been surrounded at our campsite in Louisana and 35 of us had been arrested. It just started to become evening and the campfire was lite. Out of nowhere, we were surrounded by about 200 vigilantes by my estimate. They arrested anybody without any id and the rest of us were escorted out of Louisana into Texas. The reason why, regardless of what DB might have said was that we had two runaways and one of them wanted to go home and called his parents and complained that someone had held him captive. They in turn called the authorities and believe me.. there was an army of them. I don't think anybody among us knew that they were underage (everybody then was in their teens or early twenties-we probably all looked like runaways). But, that was the reason that brought on the rednecks, it was EasyRider at its finest. Damn scarey. I was in talking to DB and Maria in their mobile home during this time..I remember it very well because we(the single people-unrelated to DB) were all eating stale donuts, cabbage, milo(gave you the runs for a week) and one time Jethro found us road kill(yummy-good old road kill-I wonder if Jethro ate any of it?-I saved mine for him), but DB was having a five course chicken dinner when I walked in on him. (He later explained that he was a weak old man(50?) and he had to have better nutrition than us- no big deal I thought-He probably wanted to quench any rumours that while we practically starving that he sure wasn't sacrificing.) Of course DB hid in his mobile home after throwing me out to the wolves. I guess his idea was to try to sacrifice me in order to save himself. By the grace of God, a lawmen came up to me and told me to go sit down with the others that had id. Just a miracle... cause this kid had no id, I don't remember even owning a billfold. And brother if you didn't have a draft card during that time you were RedNeck Pie.
We stopped at a reststop somewhere going toward Houston. DB came out and told us because we looked like hippies and were in the South that was the reason these vigilantes threw us out. He forgot to mention that these two kids were underaged and that brought on the so called persecution. (Personally, I never even knew where they came from) But, because of this he made us cut our hair and look like systemites. Very Stupid.
During this time, I noticed Aaron talking to his wife...I guess they had some kind of disagreement. Was her name Sarah? He slapped her around and threw her back in their trailer. I witnessed this a couple of times.. very rough treatment on his part. Regardless, of how DB tried to make Aaron a hero and the "man on the mountain" you just didn't want to be around him . He was just damn mean, looking back now, I think he had something mentally wrong with him. (We used to walk in the light club in HB and we thought he was really stoned, singing his cowboy songs- I mean the guy looked like howdy doody in a cowboy uniform playing his guitar upside down like Jimi Hendrix) It really shocked me and I can still remember it today like it just happened yesterday. Now, at that same rest stop something very odd occurred. A pregnant sister who was in our midst which we rarely saw started running toward the highway. The only thing they told us about her is that she bought the Army Fuel Truck for us. Where she got pregnant or who got her pregnant was a big mystery. To this day, I'm baffled, but DB told us that she ran away because she wanted a husband.??? There were sure a lot of us young studs and we were just like all other young men are-lusting. (At this time there was no touching the other sex unless you were betrothed.)We accepted this explaination. But, to this day it's a mystery.
The beginning of the purging sessions. I will go on some other time when they began and how they ended. But, just keep in mind, the first ones began and ended- or did they?
Also, I want you all to understand that we were infiltrated by the FBI or some other branch of government and they went with us to TSC. Sometimes, I find it humouress to see one of the government infiltrators picture on the newdaynews web site. I could point him out.
Just to make you understand my position on the road and early TSC. I was the tribe leader of Zebulon.. we did all the wood cutting, kept those fires burning so we could eat our milo in the morning and keep warm. Also, we were in security duty.. we knew a lot of what was going on in the camp.
I want you to understand that during this time we were accessable to DB. He was no prophet nor did he have the gift of tongues. To us hippies, he was a radical teacher, nothing more. That prophet stuff all began after he visited Madame M. I think he picked up a demon there. Nobody, but his direct family then had access to him. I wonder why?
We all accepted Maria as his wife. (Its funny to me to see the remainders of his followers with these young wives.) I just see history repeating itself but in a much more gruesome way. The explanation for this was that Aunt Jane..(we all loved her, she was so sweet) was the old church and he divorced her and married the new church..Maria. Wow, he sured pulled a great con on us..I wonder what kind of bs these guys are saying to these young women.
Suffice for now.
About Phineus, Visitor he is such a wonderful brother. A pioneer of all pioneers, do you remember when he went into Tingo Maria en "La Selva"? Sweetest brother I ever knew, just loved the Lord and loved his wife. He was outside the family most of the time. He took all of my English students when I left Peru. Let me know if you know where he is.
I hope I haven't bored all of you.
