On TV the cops chase a guy right to the county line, and then throw on the brakes because they are out of jurisdiction. It makes good TV.
In real life, they will chase you down no matter how many counties you cross into.
There is no county line when it comes to accusations of child abuse. In other words, just because someone has left The Family, it doesn't mean that they can't be put on trial and convicted. They can also end up in a prison like Former Priest John Geoghan did and suffer the same fate.
I doubt that the abused SGA's care if their former abuser left the Family or not. Albatross all but outed someone on this site just a few days ago.
On the other topic you bring up, since I'm one of the administrators of NDN, I'll explain our policy on naming names. The policy here may be different.
On NDN we allow the naming of names wiht proof that criminal charges have been filed, or if the alleged victim posts the name personally.
